1. Where is Check-In?
For the first time, you will check-in, register and pick up your race packets at Soutview Grace Brethren Church (directly across from Stadium and at the start). Use the following address for your directions: 810 Katherine Avenue, Ashland, OH 44805
2. Can I still register?
YES! We offer day-of registration. Please print off a registration form and bring it filled out to speed things up. We cannot, however, guarentee you a shirt.
3. Are there shower facilities avaialble for after the race?
Due to an overwhelming request, we have decided to offer shower facilities. They will be at Community Stadium in our locker rooms. There will be one locker room for men and one for women. Please provide all of your own toiletries and towels. Showers will only be available until 12:30PM. There is no charge for the use of the showers.
4. How many water spots will be on the course?
Miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 will be provide water.
5. Are there restrooms on the course?
NO, unless you knock on someones house.
6. If I registered but on Saturday cannot attend, can you mail me my shirt or can I get a refund.
We will not mail your shirt as we will make any shirts not picked up by the start of the race avaialble to any runners who did not receive a shirt before the race. We also do not offer refunds to runners who do not show for the race. Thank you for your donation :-).
7. Do you offer transportation for the Relay?
No. In your packet, there will be directions to the exchange point. We recommend Runner #2 drive to the exchange point and Runner #1 drive it back. What if one of the runners cannot drive? See if their parent or another runner can offer them a ride.
8. Is there an awards ceremony?
No. When you finish, you will immediately find out if you have earned an award. They will be distributed as runners finish. The reason...some runners are pretty fast and others...well not so much. This allows the faster runners not to have to wait up to two hours for an awards ceremony.
9. When will I officially know my time?
Results will be posted on www.ashlandrunners.com as soon as Premier Sports provides them for us.
10. What hotels are close to the race?
We do not officially endorse a hotel, but the closest place to stay is the Surrey Inn. There is also a Holiday Inn Express on 250. Simply google them to find their contact information.
